On July 11th, Hubby, the Wee One, and myself visited Velvet Ice Cream’s factory. In the 1960’s, they bought a mill that was built in 1817. Once it was remodeled, they opened to the public in 1970. They offer free tours.
Since the Imaginative One was at a Boy Scout camp about 30 minutes away from the mill, we visited the mill.
Since July is Ice Cream month, they were giving out free samples straight off the assembly line. I love this photo because it not only showcases the sample but also the factory, the tour guide, and the Wee One.
